Went with Mummy to Woodlands Regional Library to attend a blogging workshop at 10am. In the cab there, the taxi driver was chatting with us regarding the "NKF drama". Only a handful came for the workshop. There were three speakers. Xiaxue. Mr Brown. Preetam.
Useful tips such as how to create a blog (which i already know), different purposes of using the blog, the power of blogs, the future of blogs, blog etiquette, etc. Now, I have ideas to use blogs and flickr (an online photo sharing website) for my lesson plans :)
Took a cab to Aunt Trudy's place for lunch. The cab driver explained why Buddhists don't eat beef. Buddha's father was a ruthless person who killed cold-bloodedly. Before he died, he vowed to reincarnate as a cow to repent for his sins. Thus, Buddha instructed people not to eat beef, in fear that his dad might be slaughtered for consumption.
I learn something new everyday :)
Well, today I'm luckier, cos I've learnt quite a few new things today :)
