The Good Stuff in Life....

I was reliefing 6H from 7.30am to 10am. They were angels. I was free from then until 12.30pm, so I decided to roleplay "postman" and specially hand-delivered my handmade "thank you" cards to the respective teachers' desks.

While on my way down to the general office, I met one of my ex-students from Primary 5 whom I taught Health Education in the previous semester. He came up to me and said, "Miss Ho, why aren't you teaching us anymore?" I replied, "I'm leaving school soon to further my studies." He shot back quickly, "Power la the way you teach. I like you teaching us. We so used to you already." At once, my emotions got tangled up a bit. But of course I didn't break down into tears or something like that. I just smiled at him and made my way to the general office.

I guess it's stuff like this that makes teaching such a rewarding and great profession :)
